Dr. Allen is a clinical member of AAMFT-American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, APMHA-American Psychotherapy and Medical Hypnosis Association, and ISMHO-International Society of Mental Health Online which serves to initiate standards of ethics and care in the internet delivery of Psychological services.Dr. Allen's experience includes 25 years of treatment in community mental health and hospital based services and her internet experience includes 5 years of online treatment delivery, staffing groups for therapists, Board advisory responsibilities for APMHA a national hypnosis association; Geo Relations, Inc., an internet wellness company specializing in relationships; H.E.L.P., a national hypnosis referral service; and instruction at PsyBC.com of Continuing Education hypnosis training for Licensed Professionals, through the American Psychotherapy and Medical Hypnosis Association, co-sponsored by PsyBC. The e-Therapyhelper therapists who provide online treatment, do so as part of their regular therapeutic practices. They have been carefully selected for their dedication to treatment and for their competence in providing superior care to their clients. Therapists pay a small fee to help support the administrative costs of the service and to ensure that they have a therapeutic team to serve as back up when needed to provide continuity in care.
